Kings and Frogs

I need evidence. Indirect. From specialists. Please help. I go around telling people about "microgeography" and about how politicians have ruined biology. When people lived in tribes, each tribe settled in a particular range. Some closer to the river, some closer to acidic soil. In my neighboring village there are fewer weeds and better land. That is why gardeners lived in my place, while peasants from neighboring areas came to them for seasonal work. But with the development of "civilization" (trade and transport), humans began to detach from their tribal lands and consolidate, while partly retaining their attachment to habitat conditions. I usually used bees as an example. For instance, in Serbia (where I live) Slovenian and Italian breeds are widely distributed. Correspondingly, there are many Slovenian and Italian businesses. Some Roman emperors were born in Serbia. Slovenians were the producers in Yugoslavia. But bees have also ceased to be an indicator — their breeds have been mixed through postal shipments. So I turned to frogs. Frogs are not subject to globalization. They are not transported or shipped. Yet they are clearly tied to microgeography. Anyone who can — please send me a map of frog breed (species, subspecies...) distribution in the territory of Vojvodina and Serbia. I will compare it with my observations. Something might come of it.
