Hyperoliidae

Family Hyperoliidae (Jumping Geckos). Distribution: sub-Saharan Africa, Madagascar, and the Seychelles. The family consists of 18 genera and 210 species. Body length ranges from 1.5 to 8 cm. Many species have bright coloration and smooth skin that looks like enamel.

Most species are arboreal, but there are also terrestrial ones that move by walking or running rather than jumping.
