Liolaemidae
Liolaemidae Genus Ctenoblepharys – 1 species – Ctenoblepharys adspersa Genus Liolaemus – 212 species Genus Phymaturus – 28 species Iguanian lizards inhabiting the western part of South America. Among this family there are species that live at high altitudes in the Andes, capable of remaining active at temperatures down to 0°C, which indicates excellent thermoregulatory ability.
