Columns for Kompyuterra
In the course of my correspondence with the editor-in-chief and owner of Kompyuterra, a decision was made to terminate (temporarily for now, but I feel, permanently already) my columns on the mentioned resource. It's a pity, of course; it was associated with many good things for me; the history of cooperation with KT has stretched for 10 years. A column has been prepared on the KT website, but not yet published, in which I tried to "close" the most important topics for myself. Whether it will be published, I don't know (later addition: here it is). One of KT's wishes, which I agreed to fulfill, was not to touch upon the situation in Ukraine. In this regard, I removed the fragment below from the column. I am publishing it separately because it is my answer to the arguments in disputes with Kompyuterra readers. Recently, I wrote not only about recombination. I wrote three columns dedicated to the anti-criminal revolution in Ukraine; two of them were published in Kompyuterra. I continue to be asked questions about my assessment of what happened. I don't want to elaborate on this topic here - if only because I remember the battle in the comments. Someone "opened my eyes," someone exposed, and someone wished that I and my family become victims of the war. Forgive me, dear exposers: I don't want to waste my spiritual energy on you anymore. I will only write about the phenomenon of self-fulfilling prophecy. My thought can be explained most simply with the help of a conditional dialogue. — How dare you resist your bandits? If you defeat them, it will end in a bloodbath! — We will get rid of the bandits, and there will be no reason for bloodshed! — You will have a street fight of all against all, you are in danger! — The only danger came from the bandits we drove away. — We are coming to protect you, and we will wash with blood those of you whom we do not like! — Why? We do not need your protection! — Do not dare to resist, or we will protect you by force. — Your violence will lead to a bloodbath! — So you admit that we were right: we said from the beginning that it would happen and you need protection. And now, you scum, we will provide you with fraternal assistance! When the situation reaches some analogue of the Nuremberg trials, I would like not only those who gave orders to use force and invade the territory of another state to be among the accused. Special guilt lies with the leaders of propaganda machines who spread lies and instilled fears, preparing the ground for crimes and the use of force. I will not discuss fairy tales about "Banderites," "fascist coup," and "national radicals" here. I will say only one thing. As a Russian-speaking and Russian citizen of Ukraine, I am indeed in danger. This is the aggression of Russia. We in Ukraine will deal with other dangers and troubles ourselves. And just an anecdote - also in the form of a dialogue. — Do you see Banderites? — No... — But they are there! Do you see Russian soldiers? — Yes... — But they are not there! Dear Russians, the danger of fascism in your country is much more acute than in mine. Perhaps you should deal with problems that are relevant to yourselves? The best way to prove the righteousness of your way of life is to build it so that your country becomes a positive example for all others. The best way to prove our righteousness is to implement our plans in our lives. Now is the moment when it is more correct to put your own house in order than to go and teach your neighbors. Let's get to work!
