Poster formatting. The poster size must be 84.0 × 59.4 cm (A-1 format). Each poster must include: title, full name(s) of the author(s), authors' addresses (including e-mail). Materials for affixing posters will be provided by the organizing committee.
The conference secretariat submits the received participant abstracts to specialists in the relevant fields for peer review. Reviewers ensure that the abstracts meet current scientific standards. The text of the abstracts must make clear why the work was carried out, what methods were applied, what material was processed, what results were obtained, and what conclusions follow from these results. As a consequence of these requirements, abstracts must be concise and substantive.
Based on the reviewers' conclusions, abstracts may be accepted unchanged or with minor editing, sent for revision within a short timeframe (to be agreed with the conference secretariat), or rejected. In the event of rejection, the registration fee will be refunded minus postage costs.
We draw your attention to the fact that ecology is a biological science about interactions; its objects are ecosystems, communities, populations, organisms — and by no means the environment as such or its pollution.
