Zoology 2012. Assessment for the First Two Modules

Dear second-year students! I have been withholding your results for the first two modules for a long time, waiting for you to finally pass the topics with your instructors. Now the dean's office has demanded the assessment results. Well, this is a good occasion to see how you have done.Let me remind you that points are awarded according to the "rules of the game" that I introduced to you at the beginning of the course. The first module is worth 8 points, the following ones are worth 16 each. Tests and topic submissions contribute an equal number of points, but they are only awarded if you have passed the topics with your instructors.As of today, you could have earned 24 points — practically a quarter of the total. I am glad that there are top marks. I am dismayed by the number of people who have still not begun submitting their topics. They are not assessed. This can be corrected, but only if you take the trouble to learn and pass the topics with Viktor Arsentyevich and Marina Aleksandrovna.The writing of the test for the third module continues. As of today, only one student — Anastasia Vegerina — has submitted the third topic. I find it hard to understand what everyone else is waiting for. If you think that everything you failed to complete on time will be easier to submit all at once at the end, you are mistaken. No one will deliberately fail you, but those who postpone everything until the end of the semester and the exam are significantly complicating the task they will have to solve, and this, unfortunately, will be reflected in the grade distribution.
