Zoology-2017. Course Work Results After Exam
Vertebrate Zoology course for second-year students is completed (not including practical work and retaking "tails"). Here —are the results of your work
Dear students, the vertebrate zoology course has reached its final stage. Ahead lies only the practice.
First of all — the results of the examination test. The leader is Kateryna Stepanenko; besides her, Roman Trokhymchuk also achieved the maximum score.
The distribution of results is shown in the chart.
Each student's results can be seen in the table. First of all, I would like to remind you that the grades were calculated according to the rules I communicated to you at the first lecture. Here they are:
The table below contains the following blocks: the block with the points you earned during the semester; the block with the grades that the instructors gave you for your exam responses (sometimes — with minuses and pluses); the block with the points these grades were converted to; the block with the examination test results (percentage of "hits" and points); the total sum. The total sum was calculated according to the weight of each of the 10 grades that comprise the result. If you wrote answers to four "semester" topics at the exam, you were credited with the points you earned at the exam; if not — the points for each topic that you earned during the semester.

Of course, the results could have been better... The distribution of scores (as of now, after the exam, which, by the way, 8 students did not attend) is shown in the graph. It can be seen that this distribution is exactly as expected. Some students work (there is a bell-shaped distribution with a maximum in the range of 70-80 points), some do not. The following remains to be announced. Grades will be entered into the record books on June 20. By the way, those who were not at the meeting dedicated to field practice, come: June 20, at 13:00, meeting in auditorium III-15. Exam retake - June 21, at 13:00, meeting at the Department of Zoology and Animal Ecology. June 22 - departure to the biological station for educational field practice. All subsequent retakes - at the biological station. Prepare for practice; if you "catch the wave," it will become the best part of your student life!
