None of us will predetermine which scenario of humanity's development will be realized. But the actions of each of us can increase the probability of a technological transition or feralization.
Of course, the reference to “The Limits to Growth” (more precisely, to the recent lecture by Dennis Meadows on this topic) provoked a mixed reaction. Some understood it as Meadows warning of humanity’s imminent demise. If I correctly grasp the viewpoint of the authors of the “limits to growth” concept, they do not think that way at all. I agree with them both that the future of our species is highly uncertain and that serious upheavals and profound changes await us.
